Teri – Lead Play Ranger

Teri’s journey with PEEK started in 2019 when she joined us on placement while studying at university. Since then, Teri has been a Sessional Worker while completing her degree in Education and Social Services where she closely studied societal issues and community development. Teri is now our Lead Play Ranger at PEEK with a focus on providing equal opportunities and tackling poverty through delivering active outdoor sessions and creative activities.

Teri has experience in netball and Mental Health First Aid which are skills she aims to transfer into her sessions. A goal Teri would like to achieve within her role is to advocate for good mental and physical health through delivering active and mindful sessions to children and families. Teri feels particularly passionate about contributing towards the wellbeing of vulnerable families and developing safe spaces for children and young people to thrive in.
