As Programmes Development Manager you will have experience of both leadership and overseeing the delivery of a programme. You will manage a multi-faceted team to drive the quality of our services to children, young people and families. As an effective communicator and strong relationship manager you will develop positive relationships with all partners and stakeholders. These relationships will form the cornerstone of our programme of delivery ensuring that our programme is diverse, inclusive and joined up with the needs of our communities.

The Programme Development Manager will lead a team of coordinators, interns, apprentices and delivery partners to support children, young people and families in programme delivery across Glasgow. They will work closely with their team to develop and implement a delivery plan and targets to enable children, young people and families to ‘play’, ‘create’ and ‘thrive’.

The Programme Development Manager will support their team to:
– Recruit and engage with children, young people and families
– Deliver fun, accessible and person centred sessions within communities and schools
– Work with partners across all sectors in line with strategic outcomes
– Monitor and evaluate the impact of our programme of delivery

You will have experience of developing, coordinating and delivering food related programmes and activities including making and providing healthy, good quality and nutritious food. You will have experience of leading and supervising a staff team to achieve outcomes and provide high quality impact.

You will have experience of working with young people who have experienced barriers to participation in education and community life. You will have experience of leading and supervising a staff team to achieve outcomes and provide high quality impact.

As an Early Years Worker you will provide high quality support and deliver impactful play and creative arts experiences for children aged 0-5 and families who face barriers to participation in community life. These barriers may include but are not limited to trauma, gender based violence and abuse, drug and alcohol misuse, housing and homelessness, English as a second language, additional support needs and physical and mental health. You will have experience of planning and delivering impactful sessions that are inclusive, accessible and developmental.
We are looking for individuals who are positive, empowering and resilient and embrace trauma informed practice.
The Early Years Worker will work across #TEAMPEEK and will engage with delivery partners including schools and statutory services including police and social work to support children and families in programme delivery across Glasgow. You will work closely with your team to develop and implement a delivery plan and targets to enable children and families to ‘play’, ‘create’ and ‘thrive’.
