We provide high-quality creative art projects for children and young people aged 0 – 18 years and their families in schools and communities during term time and throughout school holiday periods.
Children and young people and families explore a variety of art forms and issues relevant to them and their community through creating music, visual arts, drama, film and more.
Children aged 5 -18 years will explore art forms alongside professional artists, experimenting with new materials and equipment. Our Shine sessions include but are not limited to, ceramics, drawing, painting, sculpture, printmaking, design and crafts.
Children aged 5 – 8 years explore drama and storytelling through play, building friendships and confidence. Children will work towards a final performance piece shared at the end of each block with family and friends.
Children aged 9 – 12 years take part in drama workshops, devising theatre, taking ownership and having fun. Children will work towards a performance final piece shared at the end of each block with family and friends.
Young people, aged 12+ years will create issue-based theatre, exploring new styles of performance and art forms, and devising innovative and powerful theatre productions.
Young people age 12+ years have the opportunity to learn digital skills in photography using professional DSLR and mirrorless cameras focusing on different photography styles to master their craft.
Children and young people will be encouraged and supported to achieve Arts Awards at the appropriate level within each of our projects.
A variety of creative trips and activities are provided during school holidays. All holiday activities are FREE and food is provided, we aim to reach as many children as possible.
