Emma – Head of Operations

Emma first joined PEEK in 2016 as the Volunteer Coordinator before developing #PEEKThrive and becoming the Thrive Programme Manager, leading the programme to win various awards including the Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service 2018, Volunteer Glasgow Award for Innovation 2017 and the SSF Building Partnership Award 2016. In March 2020, Emma returned as the Head of Operations and is responsible for everything behind the scenes including HR, policy, logistics, governance, impact and compliance. Emma’s goal is to help PEEK run in the best and most impactful way for our families and TEAMPEEK. Emma has an MA (Hons) in Sociology and her background is in youth work, employability and inclusion. Emma’s experience includes working with the National Autistic Society as their Scotland Programmes Manager and with Enable Scotland. Emma is passionate about driving social change to create a world where no child or young person is impacted by poverty.
