PEEK’s NEW Menstrual Health and Menopause Policies, IWD #EmbraceEquity
How can we really #EmbraceEquity this #IWD23? At PEEK we’re always striving to learn and better our understanding of women’s rights, gender inequality and promote equity.
We are working towards true inclusion in the workplace by being a supportive employer and making sure PEEK can be the best employer for our team.
On International Women’s Day, we launch our Menstrual Health and Menopause Policies. These policies will ensure show a commitment to our team’s well-being by providing practical and emotional support to make the workplace a better and more comfortable environment.
We recognise the challenges people face when discussing and being open when it comes to menstrual and menopause health. By introducing these policies, we hope to eradicate the embarrassment and raise awareness of menstrual health and menopause, and related issues. We aim to break the stigma and taboo; to support our team members to remain at work; and to promote an environment in which team members feel confident in discussing menstrual health, and menopause and ask for support and adjustments if required.
