Marie

Marie became involved with PEEK initially by attending fundraising events through friends that either worked or volunteered for the charity. She was first of all impressed with the people involved and their passion for what they were doing but seeing the impact the work had on the young people is what inspired her to get involved. Marie became a member of the board in May 2011 and soon became secretary for the board. She had to step down from this role due to work commitments but still is an active member of the board. Marie is part of the fundraising sub-group which she really enjoys, and loves spreading the word about PEEK and impressing friends/family/colleagues with all the amazing work that they do. Working as a Property Manager can be pretty stressful at times so she welcomes the chance to use her skills in a creative and fun environment all for a great cause.
