PEEK’s Winter Warmer 2023

The cost-of-living crisis in the UK is hitting people hard, particularly when it comes to heating their homes and staying warm. Soaring energy prices have forced many households to cut back on heating during the cold winter months. That is why PEEK is doing what we can to support our families through our annual Winter Warmer Appeal with Speirs Gumley and Hub West Scotland.

In addition to heating, the rising cost of living has also impacted people’s ability to afford adequate clothing. With inflation pushing up prices for basic necessities, many individuals and families are struggling to buy appropriate clothing, making it difficult to stay warm.

PEEK will continue to support families who are impacted by poverty to improve life chances… and you can to. If you are able to help, please see below for ways you can support our communities.

• Buy warm items such as jackets, wellies and cosy essentials – Amazon Wish List.
• Donate a gift bag in partnership with Glasgow Spirit of Christmas.
• Make a money donation and we can buy for you.
