Play Ranger

Jennifer Miller

Jennifer found her passion for youth work when volunteering with her local Rainbows Unit. She has ran sessions that inspired young girls to be confident, creative, and unique through play and the arts. This resulted in pursuing a degree in Education and Social Services- exploring social issues such as social exclusion, poverty and policies. Through this, she was introduced to PEEK starting through her university placement and worked her way to a full-time Play Ranger. This role allows her to pull all her experiences together and deliver arty sessions in a playful and inclusive way. She is a qualified Arts Award Advisor and aims to put as many children in the community through the qualification, breaking down the stigma of Arts and Culture being inaccessible. She is loving how diverse PEEK is becoming and is enjoying the ever-changing journey of what it means to be a Play Ranger.
