Head of Operations

Kelly Glass

Kelly’s journey into youth work began in 1997 with a choice to make – to spend 4 years at Art School or to attend University. Driven by a passion for working with people, Kelly’s choice was made and she graduated from the University of Strathclyde with a BA Community Arts and has worked extensively with children and young people since.

For many years Kelly worked in Youth Organisations in the East End of the Glasgow delivering and managing youth work programmes before moving to work for a National Youth Charity. Travelling across Scotland brought many opportunities and experiences to work with young people, communities, sports clubs and community-based youth projects in the areas of sport, physical activity, community development and leadership.

Additional work with SportScotland’s Active Girls Programme, the Cashback for Communities Programme and working with Young Offenders in prison offered Kelly an additional perspective into working with emerging young leaders and the future leaders in our Communities.

Kelly is excited to be PEEK’s first Head of Operations and is looking forward to working with new colleagues and the children, young people and families involved with PEEK.
